Package: linux-kbuild-2.6 Version: 2.6.24-1 Severity: normal The linux-kbuild-2.6 package (at least for version 2.6.24-1) is missing the file debian/lib/python/debian_linux/__init__.py. Without this file, modifying debian/control (such as for a local version of the package, as I have done) and running pdebuild gives:

It may be that empty files are not correctly handled by whatever creates the Debian diff, so a file with a newline in it may be necessary... but I am not at all sure of this.
