Oh thanks, in any case, if you add code, please make sure to also take into account the fact that this ide-generic module is not even built on powerpc, so probably not needed. Already jonas refuses to fix the bug on yaird to not fail because there is no ide-generic on powerpc, but if we then also lose initramfs-tools/yaird, i would be very very unhappy.
