The first preview is in http://www.xs4all.nl/~ekonijn/yaird/yaird-evms.tar.gz This preview is *NOT* suitable for packaging: there are bugfixes in the 0.0.11-x series that are not incorporated here. Testing: minimal. The code was built on a test box, generates an image there, afterwards code was merged in tla and rolled into a tarball. The tarball can be downloaded and installed & will build images. The images still need to be beat in shape: no succesful boot so far. The testcase is deliberately silly: ext3 on lvm on raid1, with both raid components on same IDE drive. Standard 2.6.12-1 kernel on newly installed box. Messages on boot: - plugin SWAPFS failed to load, error 38, function not implemented - devfs_mk_dev: could not append to parent for md/0 - raid1: md0 active 2 out of 2 mirrors. - run_init: opening console: no such file or directory. - panic: attempt to kill init. Obvious debugging steps are 'set -x' in init script, running dash interactively before run_init. Not today ... Sorry, no public repository yet. It's on the todo list. Regarding dm-raid: lets discuss that *after* we get this working ... Thanks, Erik -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
