It was depended on by the kernel-headers packages. Is this no longer the case?
I was referring to -2, not -3, which indeed is depended upon by kernel-headers-2.6.[78]-1.
And why is no kernel-kbuild-2.4-* required for 2.4 images, if they need it?
I did it that way to avoid the main kernel packages having a dependency on glibc.
I think it's perfectly reasonable for kernel-_headers_ to depend on glibc, but not for the images, of course.
