I was updating the kernel packages for amd64, and encountered this
error:

The next patch would create the file
Documentation/post-halloween-2.6.txt,
which already exists! Assume -R? [n]
apparently the sources tarball has some of the debian patches already
applied.
I took the kernel-source-2.6.7 package from
http://www.theorie.physik.uni-muenchen.de/~jens/kernel-source/
