This has been much discussed on the mailing list. The situation has
improved a bit, but it still happens to me from time to time,
particularly after the screen has been locked (but not consistently).
You can resolve the problem by removing a certain package (I don’t
remember which), but it really would be nice if this could be fixed
before trixie.

It works for me with KDE Connect 1.33.3, although I do remember that
at some point when one of the versions hit testing I had to re-pair
KDE Connect with my desktop.

This is an issue that has been discussed on the mailing list. If I
remember correctly, it works in X11, but not in Wayland. The upgrade
switches to Wayland by default, but you can go back to X11 if you
like.

This probably needs some more troubleshooting, and perhaps a bug
report. At a minimum, it would be nice to know what IMAP server you
are using and how many folders we are talking about. Also, any error
messages might help point in the right direction.

Kmail works fine for me with about 30 folders and courier-imap.
