There was another upgrade glitch: I got "no route to host" on attempting to SSH into the pure unstable machine after installing "kde-plasma-desktop". I found apt installed "firewalld" probably for "plasma-firewall" package. Yep: Recommends: firewalld | ufw I removed firewalld and was able to SSH again. Of course you can also just allow SSH again in Plasma Firewall. I have SSH on a non standard port. If you like to use local IP filter functionality you can either use firewalld or ufw with Plasma Firewall. Okay, otherwise all appears to be just fine! Which is great. It is a major upgrade.
