Dear
Previously most Plasma packages were installed from Experimental. This
morning "apt upgrade" showed 247 packages to be upgraded. Now most
were Plasma, but now from Sid!
Thanks for this enormous step and result!!!!!!!!!! [ Due to NVDIA I
need to stick to X11]

Looks like my reply got swallowed somehow.
While you can't install it from the search, you can install latest
version of that
plasmoid manually from a file that you can get here:
https://github.com/blackadderkate/weather-widget-2/releases
It works fine, but you also need qml6-module-qtqml-xmllistmodel for it.
