After the recent upgrade to kmail 4:17.12.3-1 I am seeing Arabic characters replacing punctuation marks in the kmail message pane.
For instance " (utf-8 E2 80 A6) is being replaced by ق and ' (utf-8 E2 80 99) is also replaced by ق Locale seem to be correct: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 LANGUAGE=en_GB LC_CTYPE="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_TIME="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_COLLATE="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_PAPER="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_NAME="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_ADDRESS="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_TELEPHONE="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_MEASUREMENT="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_ALL= Presumably a bug with this version of kmail but could be something I have overlooked, so it would be helpful to know if anyone else has seen this happening.
