Eric, I focus on the positive things and the things I want to change.

I currently do not engage in changing the situation you described, so I do 
not complain about it, cause I would just waste my energy this way. And as 
Lisandro pointed out make it more challenging for the people working on the 
actual packages to keep their motivation.

I strengthen what I focus upon, I strengthen what I put energy into. And 
thus I rather focus on what works to create more of that instead of 
focussing of what does not work (and also create more of that). I do this in 
my own best interest to enjoy a nice KDE environment within Debian.

Now, Eric, what is it what you want to create?
