Hi, ..thanks for all the hints I received. There was no final solution but I know in which direction to search.
Additionally I found something on the web, which is very similar to my problem: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=153115 Unfortunately, the problem is not caused by xorg.conf. So it must be something else. I *have* at least a workaround: bash# setxkbmap -keycodes 'evdev' solves the problem and the keyboard works as expected. So I only need to know where the wrong setting is coming from? Any further Ideas welcome and thanks for all the hints! rergards, Andy
