Thanks for your reply. However, I see this bug in all sorts of different configurations, and the only thing in common among them is KDE 4. It happens in my work computer (nvidia card) with either the Nvidia proprietary driver or the free nv driver. It happens on my home computer (ATI card) with either the fglrx or the radeon driver. I tried running KDE 4 on Virtualbox using the latest releases of Sidux, Kubuntu and openSUSE, and I see this bug in all of them. The systems I just described (both real and virtual) have different video cards, different versions of Xorg, and the bug still happens across them all. Even if this is not a KDE 4 problem, it does look like a bug exposed by KDE 4. This does not happen under Gnome, or XFCE. I'm starting to think I'm the only one using KDE 4 with Desktop Effects disabled.
