FWIW I was able to compile this on my machine by adding CXXFLAGS=-fpermissive in front of ./configure in debian/rules. The gcc messages above timeout look more like warnings than errors. mips porters need to retry kdenetwork on a faster mips (reconfig is the slowest afaik) or increase the idle timeout.
