I don't know why but I can confirm this using the latest 2.2.2 packages (sid).
I entered the numbers from 1 to 87, then it (konqueror) hung, forcing me to
remember how to type 'xkill'... (the rest of the desktop was not affected).

Did you have the same problem in other HTML forms too?
A quick check of http://bugs.kde.org/db/pa/lkhtml.html didn't show anything
similar; maybe you should add a detailed report there.
