Dear all, How do I use gradle-debian-helper ?
I am not into packaging but I was able to figure out a list of dependencies for a matrix protocol server project using gradle help dependencies which lists out all the dependencies. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=910999#10 from what little I could understand using gradle-debian-helper I could make some sort of dry run to see which dependencies are already in Debian and which need to be packaged. I couldn't find a manpage for it hence asking. I could discern for instance that the second dependency itself i.e. org.springframework.boot:spring-boot-starter-web:1.5.10.RELEASE is not in Debian but I'm sure there is a far better way (semi-automate) to do it using gradle-debian-helper rather than trying to discern them manually. I also saw if I could find something at https://wiki.debian.org/CategoryJava which would help me but most seem to be pretty old documentation. There is no mention of gradle anywhere in the java team. If I could get some help on this, I could at the very least put up a wiki page which may be helpful to other newbies as well. -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com EB80 462B 08E1 A0DE A73A 2C2F 9F3D C7A4 E1C4 D2D8
