May I also jump in and ask about the difference in between: amd64 vs x86_64 ? Why is there an amd64 but no ppc64 ? One last thing -maybe a little of topic-. In the context of multi arch installation could it be possible that two libjawt.so be installed on -say- an x86_64 system, one would be in amd64 subdir while the other in i386 ?
