As I was having some problems with tomcat 4.0.4 on testing (see my note about JSTL) I thought I would try tomcat 4.1 on my unstable box. So I fired up the install and downloaded over 40Mb of data, then the trouble started.
This box already had G{CI}J installed, and I had noticed that this seemed to be one of the options for dependancies. I was there a little surprised to see that it wanted j2sdk1.4 and j2re1.4. I did not also notice that it wanted j2re1.3 - there was a lot being downloaded. But there are conflicts between j2re1.3 and j2re1.4, the one it is currently highlighting is JavaPluginControl.1.gz in /ust/share/man/man1/, and I can see no good reason to want both anyway. Now nothing will install or upgrade or anything because of this conflict. Any ideas? David -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
