I wondered whether I should de-escalate this or not. I will actually choose an intermediate position. I agree that the review was conducted only on 4 strings. So, sure, the extra hassle on translators is not as big as I claimed in my former mail. The hassle was more on myself. Point taken, here. Apologies *for that part* of my mail. *However*, what I deeply regret, still, is the complete lack of communication about what was happening, namely the extra addition of several new debconf templates. This, at the exact same time we were working on translation updates (which was visible through the flow of bug reports against the package). And, of course, I also regret the poor wording of these extra templates, which lintian does send warnings for (particularly interrogative form in long descriptions). It's not like it's your first debconf templates..:-) I'm sorry, but I don't see any "screwage" on my side, I just see lack of communication (maybe too many on my side...but way not enough on yours). As written in another mail, the same happened with live-build and this is apparently a proof that we can't communicate with each other. My conclusion is therefore that I can't conduct reviews for your packages, Daniel. If someone wants to take this over, fine (thanks to Justin for doing so and, well, thanks to you for following up with him). But I'll save me some bitterness by backing up and not attempting to do other reviews. This concludes this thread for me.
