Hi! Today a new wesnoth version got accepted into experimental which has for the campaign packages quite some additions to the package descriptions. Please notice that those were taken verbatim from the campaign data itself so I would definitely vote for taking that data out of the already translated stuff that is done by upstream to not let it divert too much or to interpret it wrongly.
The translation is done through po files so if you install the packages you can receive it through a msgunfmt from /usr/share/locale/<languagecode>/LC_MESSAGES/<campaign-package-name>.mo. The only exeption is the package wesnoth-ttb which has the domain wesnoth-tb. Also notice that the added description of wesnoth-sof is indented with two spaces because it is rhymed and in verse style and thus should be formated like it is done in the description. Please notice that even though this has been done in an upload to experimental it will soonish flow into unstable because there has been a bugfix release done just last night which will flow into unstable with exactly these package descriptions.
