I am not really in favor of increasing TIMEOUTFACTOR, as it significantly increase the build time on some architectures. On the other hand, the following patch has been merged in the 2.26 release, which increases the timeout before TIMEOUTFACTOR from 20 to 100: https://sourceware.org/git/?p=glibc.git;a=commit;h=3cefdd7310a5d1fad45648d9346e47df9c185fdc I will to apply it to the 2.25 release.
