Subject: gpc doesn't work with libc6-2.0.7u-5
X-Mailer: VM 6.43 under 20.4 "Emerald" XEmacs Lucid
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Package: libc6
Version: 2.0.7u-5

Sorry, that I am not more specific ... When building gpc (part of
Debian egcs package) on a system with libc6-2.0.7u-5 and binutils
2.9.1.0.15-2.1, I get 101 test failures in the pascal test
suite. Building the package on a libc6-2.0.7t-1 and binutils 2.9.1-0.2
system, only 6 tests fail. I don't append the log of the gpc
testsuite. You can find it in /usr/doc/gpc/gpc-test-summary.gz of
gpc-2.91.58-5. Perhaps Peter (gpc developer) can append more
information on this topic. The failures are many gpc parser errors.
Any hint, what changed between these versions would be welcome.

Not sure, if this could be a binutils bug as well.
