Thinking about package names, I just saw that there is a package

libnetcdfc++4

with version 4.1.3 in Debian. We could possibly rename our new libnetcdfcxx
to libnetcdfc++4 (which is what it really is) and rename libnetcdfcxxlegacy
to libnetcdfc++3. This coincides with netCDF's own nomenclature [1].
