Oops - there were a couple of problems with my most recent message here:
* Forgot to cc you on the details, Holger (in short summary: the ReST 'only'
directive[1] may be helpful here, and could be used with a '-t <tag>'
command-line option to sphinx-build from the Makefile)
* I didn't read the documentation! The tags for the 'only' directive must be
valid Python identifiers, so 'arch_i386' would work as a tag name, but
'arch-i386' (that I had suggested previously) would not.
