Hi, after the last upgrade from a hamm mirror the X font metrics in emacs are completely messed up such that any text becomes unreadable and the characters seem to be placed in the window randomly.
Since this problem occurs also when displaying a remote emacs on the local X server, it might be a problem with the X11 server or the fonts. Has anybody experienced the same problem and/or knows a solution?
