The answer was "yes", in fact. $ grep-excuses lua-torch-xlua lua-torch-xlua (- to 0~20160719-g41308fe-5) Migration status: BLOCKED: Maybe temporary, maybe blocked but Britney is missing information (check below or the buildds) Maintainer: Debian Science Maintainers 22 days old (needed 5 days) lua-torch-xlua/i386 unsatisfiable Depends: lua-torch-torch7 lua-torch-xlua/arm64 unsatisfiable Depends: lua-torch-torch7 lua-torch-xlua/mips unsatisfiable Depends: lua-torch-torch7 lua-torch-xlua/mips64el unsatisfiable Depends: lua-torch-torch7 lua-torch-xlua/mipsel unsatisfiable Depends: lua-torch-torch7 lua-torch-xlua/s390x unsatisfiable Depends: lua-torch-torch7 missing build on all: lua-torch-xlua, lua-torch-xlua, lua-torch-xlua, lua-torch-xlua, lua-torch-xlua, lua-torch-xlua (from 0~20160719-g41308fe-4) Piuparts tested OK - https://piuparts.debian.org/sid/source/l/lua-torch-xlua.html Not considered I'm unsure how you've deduced "i386 wasn't a problem" when the above clearly shows that the lack of a lua-torch-torch7 package on several architectures is a current blocker for the migration. The lack of lua-torch-torch7 on i386 would also have been the cause of your original issue - arch:all packages must be installable on both amd64 and i386 currently; if they are not, you need to ask the Release Team to consider adding a hint to force the testing migration scripts to ignore the issue.
