As a strawman, I don't understand your doubts here. Just curious: if /usr/ has to be on the same partition as /bin/ and /lib/, what is the difference between /bin/ and /usr/bin/ resp. /lib/ and /usr/lib/? Why should one *not* unite what has the same purpose? Best regards Ole
