But in Jessie the init part is provided by the new sysvinit-core package. So we can compare the installation numbers of systemd-sysv and sysvinit-core to see what people have installed in Jessie. As [1] shows the majority of Jessie users have migrated to systemd, probably as an effect of GNOME starting to depend on it (around May 2014) and the new init package (around June 2014).
