I don't know if that's in the works, but it looks like it would be pretty
easy to add based on the 204 source.  (I haven't looked at a later version
to see if it already added something like that.)  Currently, it just sends
output to /dev/console, but it's already processing the fsck output and
turning it into a human-readable message like that.  I don't know much
(well, anything) about how plymouth works, but presumably there's just
someplace else to send output like that other than /dev/console that would
produce the correct effect.
