So do changelogs. But it’s not that hard to mentally strip away a
leading [0-9]+: in a version string. Especially when we have
monstrosities like 0.12.34-20130506-git0708090a-1 following.
Which are *also* justified.

Just understand that Debian version strings can be ridiculously
long but justified in all cases. It’s the job of a distribution
to Do Things Right™ and consistent across packages.
