Ok, let me be a little clearer.

The purpose of debian-devel-announce is for communicating announcements *to
people involved with the development of Debian*.

You are not a Debian developer. You are not a package maintainer. You are
not a Debian member. You do not speak for those who are.

Your lone opinion is therefore *entirely* irrelevant to the question of how
the debian-devel-announce mailing list is used. If there were support for
your position from other DDs, it would be worth discussing. There hasn't
been any such support, yet you've persisted in asserting the mailing list
content should be adapted to your personal preferences.

You would have done well to recognize that yours was a lone opinion and find
a way to adapt your habits to the majority view instead of demanding the
converse. You have failed to do so, and in the process have made yourself a
nuisance. You have now wasted far more of Debian's time with this little
d-d-a jihad than could possibly have been wasted by the original
announcement.

Welcome to my kill file.
