To use despotify, a Spotify Premium account is required. The source package builds three binaries: libdespotify0, libdespotify0-dev, and despotify. The binary package "despotify" provides two console front-ends, and one HTTP REST front-end. The two library packages are self-explanatory. I intend to investigate also building the python and ruby bindings, but I have not yet looked into that.
