Sorry, but Debian is a do-ocracy first, and a democracy then. AFAICT you do not maintain any of the involved packages, so thus far your best attempt has been to convince the maintainer of your ideas, which is a reasonable course of action. As of now, you've posted 30 messages in 4 days, arguably often repeating the same arguments; apparently, you did not manage to convince the maintainer to change his decision. If I were at your place, I would have realized by now that continuing along this pattern won't achieve much more. Now, I'm deeply sorry you got insults in private mail, that's surely not appropriate. In spite of that, from here you have the following choices: (1) engage the democracy part of Debian in an attempt to overrule the maintainer decision (note that you would need some DDs to support that course of action), (2) give up (possibly changing your distribution of choice due to this change, which would make me sad), (3) continue your previous pattern.
