With one file, you can run a complete slide show and have a printer-friendly version as well. The markup used for the slides is very simple, highly semantic, and completely accessible. Anyone with even a smidgen of familiarity with HTML or XHTML can look at the markup and figure out how to adapt it to their particular needs. Anyone familiar with CSS can create their own slide show theme. It's totally simple, and it's totally standards-driven. I've used this system for many presentations in several courses taught at the University of Sofia and at several FOSS conferences in Bulgaria. I'm also the maintainer of the FreeBSD port of s5, where I added a simple shell script for easier creation of new presentations. And yes, I know that none of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS are commonly considered programming languages, but somehow it feels better than just putting "none" :) -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=bg_BG.CP1251, LC_CTYPE=bg_BG.CP1251 (charmap=CP1251) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash
