        Even in this case, I think one should consider making it
 non-native, since in the future either the upstream task or the debian
 developer might change; and then it will be a  nuisance to cenvert from
 a native to a non native numbering scheme.

        Personally, I create a native package only if the package is
 Debian specific, and will not be useful for non-Debian derivative OS's,
 but YMMV.
