That's the real question. If someone is interested in working on it though (since people are asking after it) they're welcome to come and work with us. I don't follow beryl closely, so I don't know if they're fully merging with compiz or what. In addition, I don't know if the extra bits from Beryl, like the configuration manager and emerald will become part of compiz.
