I request that you not require the signature to belong to a DD. I have done a fair amount of bug triage, including merging, retitling, and even closing for both Qt and KDE with the permission of the respective maintainers, and would not have been able to help out in those ways if I needed to be a DD to do so. I think we should also make sure the submitter can close a bug if he realizes it is invalid. It seems the only way a spam is likely to close a bug is by going to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I doubt that [EMAIL PROTECTED] is very vulnerable to spam. Josh
