Is this among people who are associated with pornography, either by being producers or consumers, or would this be among people who have some other motive for disliking porn? I happen to have the pleasure of knowing dozens of sex industry workers, including prostitutes (male, female, and TS), camerawomen, models, actors and actresses, store owners, dildo designers, authors, sex club bouncers, webmasters, toy reviewers and professional doms. I'm sure every one of them would agree with me that the expression of sex and pornography is about _freedom_, especially freedom from the oppressive ideas of outsiders, and that anyone who thinks it is demeaning or insulting to anyone just really is missing the boat. At least one of them (the store owner) feels that people that say they dislike porn just have never been exposed to "the right kind". It's a pretty common feeling to dislike something you don't understand. Especially when repeatedly told to dislike it. Perhaps the porn by itself is neutral, and the oppresive cluture around it is what causes it to be demeaning. (btw, is gay porn demeaning to women?) dave...
