Something ought to be done though, since more(1) can't be made to go backwards through manpages. This is rather a serious deficiency.
Perhaps /bin/pager, done by update-alternatives ? Hmm, not too good. Another option might be to have man point more at the catman file rather than at a pipe. more can go backwords if it's given a seekable file. -- Raul
