: HP-UX's more(1) doesn't allow you to go back at all. Ever. :) Until HP-UX 10.X, at which point it has very less-ish behaviour. Check the man page, or just hit 'b' by accident thinking you're in less, and be amazed. It's the little things that make you so happy sometimes... :-) Bdale
