Thanks for the pointer to bug filled about problem 1.
I've just filled a whishlist for 2 to install-doc.
And I understand 3 is inherited from (or caused by) 1 and 2 if
[CD]/install/doc is a copy of the doc in disks directory.

Yep, i don't know that (i only use Debian ;-), but there are yet
many symlinks that does not exist in disks/.../doc
directory (such as install/doc/index.html and doc/install/*.en.html)
Maybe it would be better to have only doc/install symlink to
install/doc given that the later is copy of disks...doc.
It will trouble less to windows users (only a broken file instead
of many and maybe a tip for where to look) and it works well for
the rest (including remote navigation of mounted image).
