Package: libsdl-mixer1.2-dev Version: 1.2.6-1.1+b1 Severity: grave This bug is strictly similar to libsdl1.2's #396063:
/usr/lib/libSDL_mixer.la refers to many libraries (eg. libasound), which are not (and should not be) pulled by the package's dependencies. This makes packages (such as gcompris) not build from source any more. Note: this particular bug was hidden by libsdl1.2-dev depending on libasound2-dev, which it now only recommends. This will trigger many other FTBFS. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (90, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15.4-smp-gbbde1285 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages libsdl-mixer1.2-dev depends on: ii libc6-dev 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Development Librari ii libogg-dev 1.1.3-2 Ogg Bitstream Library Development ii libsdl-mixer1.2 1.2.6-1.1+b1 mixer library for Simple DirectMed ii libsdl1.2-dev 1.2.11-4 Simple DirectMedia Layer developme ii libsmpeg-dev 0.4.5+cvs20030824-1.9 SDL MPEG Player Library - developm ii libvorbis-dev 1.1.2.dfsg-1.2 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi libsdl-mixer1.2-dev recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
