Package: cifs-utils
Version: 2:7.2-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
On boot, no shares were mounted
Upgraded yesterday, next boot this morning

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Reboot, no change
Revert to version 2:7.1-1, problem gone
no other packages downgraded

Logs show for each failed mount:

cifs: Bad value for 'password2'

mount: mount error(22): Invalid argument
