Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
The behaviour of the dead keys in ibus with a french input method has
changed: previously, when I typed a dead ^, then the space bar, it was
producing the character ^. Now when I type a space, it does not take it
into account and waits for another character (or a backspace).
In the ttys, I get the right behaviour.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I tried other input methods, with or without dead keys.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Either I get the behaviour mentioned before, or I have no dead key at
all (hence cannot type รข for example).
The problem also goes for the backtick `. My current input method treats
as a non dead key, but I am no longer able to type o with a grave accent
for example. For me, it is however a better choice than being unable to
input a backtick.
I report against ibus as it was updated recently and changing input
method in ibus changes some things, but this looks a bit like
libglib2.0-0 bug #1070745.
