Package: idle-python2.3 Version: 2.3.5-10 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
idle-python2.3 depends on python2.3-tk (>= 2.4.3), which is impossible to satisfy because the latest nonvirtual version of python2.3-tk was 2.3.5-9.1 and dpkg does not (yet?) support versioned dependencies on virtual packages. As such, could you please either drop the version specification or depend on python-tk (>= 2.4.3)? idle-python2.4 has a similar problem, BTW. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16.9 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages idle-python2.3 depends on: ii python-tk [python2.3-tk] 2.4.3-1 Tkinter - Writing Tk applications ii python2.3 2.3.5-10 An interactive high-level object-o idle-python2.3 recommends no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
