Package: webext-browserpass Version: 3.4.1-2 Severity: serious When I click on the BrowserPass icon in Firefox ESR I get this error:
Error: TypeError: localStorage is null When I click on the BrowserPass icon in Firefox I get this error: TypeError: null is not a valid URL. These persist after disabling and enabling BrowserPass. These persist after restarting Firefox ESR and Firefox. The same thing happens in the Add-On preferences for BrowserPass. When I do the same in a new browser profile I get the same issue briefly during startup but then it goes away and BrowserPass works. It seems like there is an initialisation step that is run during a browser profile init but not after BrowserPass upgrades. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing-debug APT policy: (900, 'testing-debug'), (900, 'testing'), (800, 'unstable-debug'), (800, 'unstable'), (790, 'buildd-unstable'), (700, 'experimental-debug'), (700, 'experimental'), (690, 'buildd-experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.3.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_FIRMWARE_WORKAROUND, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages webext-browserpass depends on: ii fonts-open-sans 1.11-1 ii libc6 2.29-3 Versions of packages webext-browserpass recommends: ii firefox 70.0.1-1+b1 ii firefox-esr 68.2.0esr-1+b1 webext-browserpass suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
