xmds2's mpi/hdf5 tests (test_mpi_xsilloading_hdf5 etc) have recently started
failing.
h5py was recently (2.9.0-4) updated to build with mpi support, that is
built against libhdf5-mpi-dev (aided by mpi4py) rather than libhdf5-dev.
I don't know if it means xmds2 just needs to be rebuilt against the
new h5py/mpi4py packages or if the problem is more complex than that.
The xmds2 autopkgtest failure is holding back h5py with mpi support
from migrating to testing.
Thanks for this bug report. I established a preliminary diagnostic of
the problem and kept the upstream authors informed.
