Source: xmds2 Version: 3.0.0+dfsg-2 Severity: serious xmds2's mpi/hdf5 tests (test_mpi_xsilloading_hdf5 etc) have recently started failing.
h5py was recently (2.9.0-4) updated to build with mpi support, that is built against libhdf5-mpi-dev (aided by mpi4py) rather than libhdf5-dev. I don't know if it means xmds2 just needs to be rebuilt against the new h5py/mpi4py packages or if the problem is more complex than that. The xmds2 autopkgtest failure is holding back h5py with mpi support from migrating to testing. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
