Hi Iain,
since you resolved the issue in mediawiki2latex 7.20. Can you give me some more info on how I can resolve the issue with mediawiki2latex 7.21 and ghc 7.8 on power pc. If it can be solved by changing the makefile, just send me the new makefile and I will publish a new version of mediawiki2latex with your makefile.
Yours Dirk

Hi,
currently I don't understand how to fix it. The only thing I could find
out is that the problem should resolve itself as soon a the ghc compiler
version 7.10, which is currently in experimental, makes it to unstable.
I looked at the patch to mediawiki2latex and only saw changes in the
makefile. I don't understand if and how they can help with the problem.
But if its just about the makefile, just send me a makefile that works
on any architecture and I will release a new version of mediawiki2latex
with the makefile exchanged. Georges could upload it by soon and we
could get mediawiki2latex back into testing soon. The problem is that
mediawiki2latex 7.20 which is currently in testing does only understand
http but not https and thus does not work with wikipedia. But
mediawiki2latex 7.21 currently in unstable understands https and thus
work with wikipedia.
