So I've just deployed the fix on the piuparts slave host (simply dropped it in
ยจ/bin) and scheduled 2300 failed packages for retesting, so this patch will
get quite some testing now.
If the perl team wouldn't want to take over maintainance, I would prepare
another NMU. Obviously I would rather see a proper maintainance take over.
