Ok. However, given that iceweasel is a programm facing a highly
hostile environement I hope that every user applies the security
update so in fact pure stable should not matter much.

Why is a rebuild then neede at all? For the previous iceweasel tabmix
works just fine, it just breaks for recent iceweasel.
But I guess we are wasting time. The first step would be to get a
recent tab mix *at all*, getting the source into the repository (sid,
experiemental, I don't care much). Then people can rebuild it locally at
least until it appears for stable security (hopefully soon, of course).
